Now that’s a kickass daily driver.

I saw somebody out and about in a snow covered Mustang this morning and had to tip my cap to them, but at least that has traction control. Max points for the Charger.

Thats either brave or crazy. Can't tell which but i support it.

On one hand, I love seeing it being used, on the other hand, I don’t know if they use salt where you live, but that terrifies me.

Hey this has traction control, it’s called the driver’s right foot. ;)

They must not salt where you are

As roadkill once said - why not drive it in winter? It's what they did in the 70s.

The irony of that statement is that not only was this photo was taken about 500 feet away from the salt pile, the owner of the car is one of the highway maintenance foremen overseeing the application of said salt.

Says the guy from California, where rust doesn’t exist. It’s not the “OMG DEATHTRAP” that most don’t go out in the snow, it’s the salt, and why there’s not that many around anymore.

Damn. I’d consider him
not “baller” but either “foolish” or “desperate” in that case.

Nah, h e looks after the car. It’s fluid filmed every year and he keeps it clean. It’s not really his daily either, I was a little surprised to see it parked there after fresh snowfall . In the summer it’s always around but usually it only comes out in good weather in the winter.

And?
Unless it’s a museum piece, then it’s really up to the owner. If this guy is boss enough to drive his charger in winter, and accepts what could come of it, then I wholeheartedly encourage it.

And that’s the answer to your question of “why not drive it in winter?” Yes, that’s what people did in the 70's, and they all rusted to shit in a few years.

Well clearly not all of them, some are still around for us to drive in winter in the 2010s.

Yes, those were the ones that somebody garaged, or drove in the southwest, or replaced a lot of sheetmetal. The others that were driven in the w
inter in the 70's weren’t so lucky.
